FLOWER CARE

At Flowers in the Alley, we take great care in preparing each floral arrangement to ensure their beauty and longevity. However, to keep your flowers looking and feeling their best, we recommend following these helpful tips after they go home. Upon arrival, check the water level in your flower arrangement, and make sure to inspect the flowers daily and replenish the water as needed. Every other day, add cool and fresh water to maintain the blooms' vitality. 

As individual blooms begin to fade, promptly remove them to preserve the freshness of the remaining flowers. 

For HAND-TIED BOUQUETS, give the stems a fresh cut and place them in cool water upon arrival to revitalize the blooms. For FLOWERS IN A VASE it is best to position them away from direct sunlight and air vents to prolong their lifespan, while replenishing their water often.  

 

By following these guidelines, you can ensure that your flowers continue to bring joy and beauty to your surroundings for as long as possible!

TURN AROUND TIME

Arrangements will be created in the order they are received. For orders requiring shorter turnaround times, please inquire directly and be aware that expedited fees may be applied. Orders received after same day cut off will be designed and delivered the following business day.

LOCAL DELIVERY

We are happy to deliver to within 5 miles of our shop located in Downtown Salem for $16. All other orders will require pick-up. Orders received for delivery outside our 5 mile range may be subject to cancelation or additional transportation fees. If recipient is not home at time of delivery, blooms will be left near the front or side door to be collected upon return. Flowers in the Alley is not responsible for deliveries made to incorrect addresses submitted to us by the customer

REFUND POLICY

Flowers are precious perishable goods; all sales are non-refundable and final. However, we take great pride in the quality of our designs at Flowers in the Alley. If you are not satisfied with your blooms, please contact us within 24 hours and give us the opportunity to resolve any issues. If you have any questions regarding the care and handling of your design, please contact us during business hours and we would be so happy to help. 

Cancellation Policy

Due to processing fees incurred for online orders, all orders requiring cancellation will be subject to a 5% refund/ cancellation fee. 

Unless otherwise noted on the floral order, our deliveries are typically made in the afternoons between 2pm-4pm, and normally no later than 6pm. Flowers in the Alley is not responsible for timelines or deadlines not disclosed to us by the purchaser.
